Is my Pro Series Backup system compatible with a Maintenance Free battery?

All current PHCC Systems are designed to be used with either the Wet Cell or the Maintenance Free Batteries. For older systems:

Pro Series 2400

If your control box has a slide switch allowing you to choose the type of battery – It is compatible
If your control box does not have a slide switch – It is not compatible

Pro Series 2200

Pro Series 2200 models are not compatible with maintenance free batteries.

Pro Series 1850

All Pro Series 1850’s are compatible.

Pro Series 1730

If your control box has a remote terminal on the right side – It is compatible
If your control box does not have a remote terminal - It is not compatible

Pro Series 1000

All Pro Series 1000’s are compatible

Pro Series batteries are standby batteries. They are made to be drained and recharged, and they will last longer and perform better than an automotive or deep cycle battery in this application.
